21,000 dwt container vessel disabled off Tagula Island, Louisiade Archipelago, Papua New Guinea. Towed to Brisbane for repair.

14,000 grt SD14 type vessel disabled 600 miles south-east of Fiji. Towed to Suva, Fiji, where fish meal cargo stabilised and inerted.

7,000 dwt general cargo vessel run aground in the Star Reefs in Papua New Guinea. Refloated and towed to Port Moresby.
