65,000 dwt tanker, broken down 20 miles north of entrance to Moreton Bay, Queensland. Subsequently towed to safety.

KIRKI | July 1991
90,000 dwt tanker (laden), adrift and on fire after losing bow 5 miles off WA coastline. Towed to sea, stabilised, cargo transferred and redelivered to owners.

ADHIGUNA NUGRAHA 1 | September 1991
5,000 grt cargo vessel, aground on east coast of New Ireland. Refloated and redelivered to owners at Rabaul.

BARBARA J | November 1991
Fishing vessel aground on remote reef east of Fiji. Refloated.

CALATAGAN | December 1991
12,500 grt bulk carrier, broken down off south-west coast of Victoria. Towed into Portland for repairs.

5,018 grt forest products ship abandoned and on fire North Sea. Fire extinguished but casualty subsequently exploded and sank.

GAS RISING SUN
44,706 grt LPG tanker disabled North Atlantic. Towed to Brazil for discharge then NW Europe for repairs.
